Nursing SPC Clones

When I got them I carefully peeled the rockwool off the roots and planted in soil. Searles premium mix with osmocote. stonedas later told me it would have been better to leave the cubes on

 

they all withered pretty badly after planted. The one in the clay pot is a misty clone that arrived unrooted. I dipped it in clonex and treated it like the rest, misting 2-3 times a day. I used the little containers they came in to prop them up.

after about 2 weeks they all seem to be doing fine. leaves turned yellow on a few of them so where pruned. the brown pot in front is Misty. On the back from left to right is Misty, AK99, White Rhino, Shishkeberry. The big plant is my Verry Berry mother.

i hae just tried searles seed raising mix :angry: never again i sowed 24 seeds 8 in rw 8 in soil 8 in searles results =

rw 7 plants

soil 8 plants

searles 2 plants

all seeds were planted at the same time and watered at the same time .

it realy suprised me the soil mix did better then the rock wool but their ya go.

gunna try the same thing again just to make sure

Of course they would be better leaving them on like Stonedas says... but just out of curiousity, why did you tired to take off the rockwool in the first place? What did you thought at the time?

I don't know urb, I guess I thought it would be better with the rockwool off.

 

btw Green finger, thats not searles seedling mix, but regular potting mix. I don't know, I've only tried germing seeds in it once, and got a 5 out of 5.

I was just wondering how to get hold of Stondas.

I have tried a PM and a his e-mail. I might just be a little impatient.

Anyways, does any one know where throughout Aus SPC delivers and what they currently have?

Also could I ask how they can be selected, need all the same strain, mix strains etc.

mate stonedas isn't online much anymore, but his clones are available through MJ OZ. PM Rodwal and he should be able to sort you out.
