Green Lighting

Hey guys i was reading another forum somewhere about this guys other grow, because he didn't know when he would be able to access the flower room as he worked he used a green light so he could work in the flower room while the lights were off. He said something along the lines that plants can't take in the green spectrum of light so it doesn't blow the dark cycle.

 

Has any one heard of this or know if there is any truth in this as it would be good to have 24hr access to the flower room, thanks

I always have a green light in my grow rooms for just that reason.

Hasn't interrupted sleepy time for one plant yet.

ah what do you mean green light as in the light only has the green spectrum?

did you guys know that the new cfls come in greenbluered for veg now and i got one, guess what all my plants have a natural internode and the fuckers show signs of sex while vegging just like outdoor its amazing. you can grow from seed and not have to fuck around as much

 

 

so if the plants cant take in green light why do they show signs of sex after moving from 24 hour blue to 24 hour blue green red but still veg or is this bad for the plants does it shock them , help

Personally, I don't interrupt them at all in the dark cycle, the only way you can be sure they are not getting disturbed. GH72

wat is the green l;ight?

is it just a normal bulb with grren paint?

or is it a special developed bulb?
