water cycle for clay pebbles

Hi to anyone reading this !

This is my first time attempt with a full HYDRO system and im using Hydroton CLAY PEBBLES on a dripper system.

MY question is how often and long should i water my babies ? im only just about to transplant them but am reluctent to move them incase i over/under water. (ive read to do 15 mins on 15 mins off but is that 24 hours or just during light cycle??)

It's pretty hard to over feed in hydro, I run my pumps 24/7 and never have any problems. So what ever feels right for you. Just make sure if your using rockwool, that it isnt constantly soaked, otherwise it could lead to stem rot.

I have always used clay and I run it for 15mins every two hrs

 

would be better to use feeder rings instead of a drip system with clay too

Feeder rings or 'halo's 24/7. Also run air 24/7, to ensure oxygenation.
