late growing

Recommended Posts

Hi, Im in Tasmania. Was wondering if i plant a few seeds a week or two just before my larger outdoor plants start to bud, will the seeds I planted bud up? like a mini or bonsai plant?

hope it does because I'll put all my shitty chukout seeds in and see what happens. We have 12hrs and 45min of daylight hours at the moment.

Also i recieved some 'purple jem' lowryder autoflower seeds does it matter what time of year i plant these because thay autoflower?

And if anyone knows, what would be the best time to plant and harvest down here in tasmania?

Although I've never grown that far south I'd be concerned about how fast winter comes on down there, they wont like it being too cold.

That said, yes they will go into flower fairly quickly, some strains wont go straight to flower from seed but will veg for a couple of weeks before their hormones kick in, others will flower almost straight away.

With barely 12hrs light and falling temps I wouldnt expect much growth anyway so I'd guess at a bunch of small single cola plants. It's very late in the season (almost harvest time) so dont expect them to put on much weight, bud growth will be sparse and fluffy (if they even survive to finish with the cold you get down there).

Dont waste the auto's, they are best put in very early next season, then you'll have some early buds for xmas and you'll get the most out of them with the better growing conditions in spring.

:peace:
