Is this a wind up ?

You mean, what you've posted here?

I would like some actual information on the subject from someone with some experience.

I would imagine fluro to be a viable option as they produce less heat and I understand it's a light and heat sensitive plant.

The amount of fluoros needed to get a good amount of decent buds from one or two plants is just not viable.

Sure use them for VEG period, but when it comes to flower you will not get much support here for their use.

Just get a 250HPS and save yourself the trouble, they are not expensive in comparison to using several

large fluoros in regards to input and output.

My bad

In my very early morning haze i did not read the title to this thread by the time i got around to looking at it.

I have done much reading on Sally for the time when i get my hands on some cuttings, which should be in the near future.

She will grow very well under cool fluoro lights yes. 6500k

When i get these cuttings they will be going into coco at first.

I have read that anything from perlite to hydronton she will grow in with hydro.

She is a hungry plant that enjoys large amounts of root space, wide and deep, size wise think a half wine barrel would be good.

She enjoys reasonably high levels of humidity but over time can be adapted to more dryer conditions.

There is plenty of reading on the WWW about growing sally have a look around aye.

SWIM found this to be a very adaptable plant indeed.

It will take root very well in any medium it was given (rockwool, hot rocks, perlite and coco was tried).

Rooting hormones are not required at all, and if you strip all of the leaves off the cutting bar the two at the growing point, it will acclimatise to its new environment as it establishes itself.

Thus, you can do away with worrying about any humidity requirements.

Your too right about its need for a large root space Fibrofeend.

In fact for years SWIM thought it was doing something wrong until it was given plenty of room to stretch it's feet in.

Stick it in the ground someplace shaded from the mid-day to afternoon sun and watch it grow!
