i think reefer madness gen , began when chem companies spent a small fortune on propaganda paying for the ads and stuff . to scare evryone into believing it was the devil drug .

dont quote me but from what ive read and seen has led me to believe this .

even after prohibition began the govt back then planted thousands of acres of hemp to help keep up the blankets and clothing for the war . and after the war , quickly burnt it all so cotton farmers could get back to poisoning the planet .
