Recommended Posts

I don't know why they named the Parade after Mardigras

a poofta pride parade, whats MardiGRASS' chant? Where here! were STONED! get used to IT!!

:P, Mardigras isnt a gay thing, it's just a festival.

Mar·di Gras (mär'dē grä')

n.

Shrove Tuesday, celebrated as a holiday in many places with carnivals, masquerade balls, and parades of costumed merrymakers.

A carnival period coming to a climax on this day.

An occasion of great festivity and merrymaking.

People don't seem to recognize the fact that one of the main reasons why no major changes have happened with prohibition basically boils down to 3 things:

1. The reefer madness generation, or the WW2/Korea generation. this group of people still largely believes that pot is the devil's weed that it was preached to be in the 30's and 40's. the biggest problem with this group is they all vote, and almost all are social conservatives

2. The money to be made by LEO's by keeping pot illegal. it generates enormous amounts of money for both law enforcement and prison systems.

3. The lobbying power of huge chemical and pharmaceutical companies. the phizers and duPonts of the country are doing all they can to keep marijuana and hemp illegal because they arent dumb: legalization will spell huge hits to their profits.

LEO=Law Enforcement Officer.

seen eckieee

yes i can see the light of your reasoning

here is a another to add to you list

the biggest global budget belongs to the military

seen

the second biggest global budget is the black market

it was strictly drug money that kept the market afloat during the last global financial crash

yes thats right drug dealers

and ofcourse

they have the biggest budget to lobby gov

drug dealers support prohibition

its their job, their livelihood

anyone they cant buy, they kill

mexico is a prime example

legalize all drugs is the solution

imagine if we buy all the opium and hashish the expert traditional farmers of Afghanistan can produce for medicinal use

there is no other way really

the world should know
