Cloning just before harvest?

Is there any certain time during the life of a plant that it is best to take clones?

 

I was hoping that when i harvest my girls, i'd be able to take clones at the same time?

 

Is this possible, at this time?

Best time to take clones are wile the plants are in veg stage.

 

Clones can be taken in flower but if taken just before harvest i dout they will root as they have to revert back to veg and that takes a bit of time...

hey wy not just reveg after harvest.... just leave a couple of the small bottom branch's and put back under 24 light. In about 2 to 3 weeks it will convert back to veg state and then you can either regrow her or take some clone, or better still both. Just a thought

@ johnnybsmokin ... i have had a potted girl for 3 seasons and have found it fairly easy to re-grow once the flowering was completed i cut away all but 4 branches cleaning as much of the flower out and leaving as many leaves as possible, i put it inside under a 40w=100w flurescent light on 24hrs for 2-3 weeks and it turns back to veg every time

you can nearly take clones any time but it will slow down the root from flower but if its for you next grow i would take them 2 to 3 weeks in the flower cycle then when you right to go again you will have some nice clones

Clones are best taken in the veg cycle, preferably just before you flip to 12/12. Just my 2 cents worth.

Isn't that called monster cropping??? taking a clone on the 21st day of flowering, takes a while to root but you end up with a very bushy plant with lots of colas.I'm sure there is a tute on cannaversity ,that where i read it!!

Cloned buds branch like crazy, but as mentioned do take longer to root.

 

I'd reveg her and take some cuts then flower as previously mentioned.

Due to a stuff up on my part I had to take cuttings four weeks into the flowering cycle. I didn't think I would have much luck but 80% of the clones had roots by day ten.

I took the cuttings from small immature branches around the bottom of the plant that weren't showing much in the way of buds.

 

Theres not much you can't do with these plants
