New coco from House & Garden?anyone tried it

i was in a local hydro shop the other day and i noticed they had stopped selling canna coco bags,which was a bugger cos thats wot i wanted , the salesman said the new cocofibre from House & Garden was as good if not better and had all the RHP standards etc blah blah blah.

Has anyone done a grow with this coco-does anyone really care.

I think the salesman just sells wots hot that month or wot he got at a special price but needless to say i walked out of there with 6 bags of the stuff.

Cana is just a name like BIllabong or Coke, yes they r good but isnt the only 1 that works. Coco fiber is cocofiber as far as i know fuck all difference. I have used cana and nutrifield.... no difference at all just nutrifiled was 10 bux a bag cheeper

I use Nutrifield or Galuku coco, does the job and less expensive.

NutriField coco does it for me too (and I'm a loyal House & Garden customer), IMO Canna products have always been overrated for what they are.

It's nice to buy quality and the certainty that comes with it but with Coco the no-name stuff from the local nursery does the same job (just needs one hell of a flush first) as Canna or H&G. I am finding more and more that the quality (from a growers perspective) of the coco has little to do with its source and more to do with the size of the particles, and NF seem to have that just about right.

 

 

PS. Oh yeah and price!

I currently se all CYCO products from nutes to coca, Not that I can compare as I dont use anything else but I have had flawless results so far.Very good grade of coca too as in no crap and good size. I paid $22 for 40lts form my local guy..

 

I like it that much I just clone straight into that now,,,bugger the Rwool
