All fungi can only attack when there is a Potassium (K) deficiency.

nuff stress can cause a plant to use up all its available K in 1hr.

eg heavy rain, or a cold snap can cause our plants to use up all its available K, followed by a heavy due can lead to the invasion of fungi resulting head rot.

Or the stress of an insect infestation

what ever

is stress related

just

supplement with a high K spray is the simple solution

seen

A good source of organic K is found in kelp or

Potassium Bicarbonate agg.,grade

the best is Eco Carb

there are a few pon the market

Potassium Bicarbonate is the stuff that we use to make cakes rise

NB. Baking powder used to bake cakes can some times have other ingredients like cornflower and even aluminum

so

read the ingredients and chose wisely you don’t want to smoke aluminum and cornflower

even if it can be washed off the morning before harvest.

Having said that in an emergency I have used non-aluminum Baking powder with great success against head rot

A spray would be an effective control method.

K Spray Program

At first sign of fungi attack the early the better. Continue to spray once daily till all signs of head rot are gone

Mix I teaspoon of baking powder per litter. Strain and spray effected area thoroughly and rest of plant sparsely.

Ideal time to spray for maximum efficiency is on a waxing moon in a baron sign at low tide.

never spray under full lights or in full sun

irey guidance
