White Rhino

Hey man!

Im just finishing up one white rhino plant, grew it amongst 11 cheese plants... It was ready to cut at about 7 weeks flat in soil which i was supprised about...

Mine was very short, very bushy/branchy, indica dominant (maybe it was just the pheno).

Saying that it hasnt yeilded as much as the other plants but i have had a lot of problems with height difference and it has tended to sit in the corner a lot lower and more covered than i would like...

Havent tried to smoke the bud yet but it looks intense! Very resinous...

Cutting friday, ill let you know :D

Peace

Hey mate. She'll be a sweet smoke, so don't be bummed. It's a good strain, so cheer yourself up with the idea that you'll be smoking some of the best bud around.

OK, two things - 1000w (are we talking hps here?) is going to be overkill for that space, and more than likely will give you temp problems, and it will be dry as hell in there. Really, 250w is what you should be looking at for a tight space like that, or 400w with a cooltube and venting. Check out the growroom calculators in the cannaversity here to get an idea of what suits different spaces.

Look into airflow, too. To do it right, you probably want an extractor fan and passive intake at the least. If odor will be a problem where you are, then look into a filter or whatnot to manage that.

Should be fine with a couple of plants in that space. Just be sure to switch them to flower when they're between 1/3rd and 1/2 the height you want them to be, and read up on training the plant.

Anyway - lots of people here much smarter than I. Hopefully one will chime in to give you their 2c worth as well.

PS: great tip about the c99, chunk.

Paladin,

Just to clarify a few things before i go out and buy stuff. The grow room is in a wardrobe built into the wall. My intention was to set it up in there but to leave the doors open and putting a fan there to blow air (hoping i wouldnt need intake and extractor fan). The reason i choose the 1000 was I wanted the best quality and thinking the doors were going to be open the temp shouldnt get too hot in there.

thank you for your help thus far.
