Germinating seeds

I germinated 6 seeds a week ago in paper towels a saucer and water and they have all sprouted, now I know what the information is do not let them dry out but I did for 2 days so what do you think could of happened to them? I watered them again and they seem to be thriving ok about to plant them tonight what do you think it will effect the smoke; the plant?

thats a good question...you would think it would effect the plants in some form...how...i am not sure....

i dare say it might have some effect on growth and development or on the sex of the plant itself, that is a complete guess however....lets see what the others have to say, generally you shouldnt let them dry out tho....mmm

You won't really know if the plants will be affected until they have been growing for a while. I would say imo there would be a difference somewhere along the path. Newborn stress. Did the tips of the sprouts turn brown?

They haven't sprouted yet, they were still in the paper towel when it dried out so all six seeds sprouted the tap root though i will have to wait and see what comes up now they are planted. The tips did not turn burn on the tap root though i did notice some yellowing. Thnx appreciated. Edited February 16, 2010 by smoked it

All sprouted three have come up no signs of any abnormality in the seedlings so far even left for two days, i think i managed to water them just in time before a real problem started on the tap roots of the seeds.
