White grubs in soil!?

Recommended Posts

When i emptied out the 30 litre pot my male was in, i found about 5 white 'grubs' in the soil. There were probably many more, but they were about 5-10cm down right under where the plant was.

Any ideas of what they could be ?

They were probably about 6mm thick and about 25mm long,

they were white with little legs and had a dark 'ass-end' haha.

If they are a pest I may have to have a treatment in the future , and I still have a female alive that may be infested with the same bugs.

Help anyone lol ?

Ok, through more searching, has anyone ever heard of 'white curl grub', which is in the picture in the about post?

More importantly, has anyone ever heard of vine weevils, and are they here in australia?

Here is a pic of a vine weevil...

Also any remedies, and do they both respond to the same treatment if I assume they are either one?

Many thanks... Sorry for multiposting if anyone can remedy that
