Lighting for grow box 2

So i've been reading around the forums on lighting, and have heard people talking about having different lights for veg and for flowering. Is it vital to have different lights for the different stages? or can one get away with the same lights?

Usually it is MH [Metal Halide] for veg as the growth period likes the blue spectrum, for bloom it is HPS [High Pressure Sodium] which is in the orange spectrum. I do know a few people that have grown with just the HPS light with a good return.

You can use a MH to do a full grow but u wont get full result out of the plants with out using a HPS for flower.

 

U can use a HPS from the start as well, there is a light on the market by Phillips called the Sun-T-Argo that is ment be able to be used for veg and flower as it is ment to put out both spectrum of light.

 

I use the Sun-T my self and cant fault it...
