Dopey Dutchman shuts down Brissie Airport after too many hash cookies

 

A 28-year-old backpacker was convicted and fined $1100 yesterday after closing down Brisbane's Airport Saturday with some stoned-out-of-his-gourd behaviour.

 

Hendric Teunissen had one too many hash cookies in hippy haven Nimbin, then drove his unregistered car to Brisbane Airport where he parked on the departure ramp and proceeded to wander inside aimlessly. He was later taken into custody by customs officials. Hendric didn't have a plane ticket, nor a clue as to where he was or what he was doing there.

 

After receiving his fine he told reporters that the drugs in Nimbin were similar in strength and quality to his local shwag in Amsterdam, but that it 'depends who bakes the cookies'.
