Police in Sydney's south west have seized 158 cannabis plants from a house after speaking to a man who had allegedly burgled it.

A 32-year-old man was arrested yesterday afternoon after reports that he had been seen breaking-in to a house on Banks Road at Miller.

The man told officers that the house was being used to grow the drug.

Police went to the property and allegedly found a hydroponic set-up in three rooms and cannabis thought to be worth $300,000.

A 38-year-old man was charged with the enhanced cultivation of a cannabis plants and one count of altering electricity.

He was granted bail to appear in court next month.

The other man was charged with break-and-enter and appeared in court yesterday.

:xcited: wtf is enhanced cultivation? is that a new charge?

Must have been due to the "elaborate and high-tech" operation :xcited: bloody media.

:bongon: :peace:

:xcited: bloody oath, that's ridiculous. Probably just means hydro, probably harsher sentences now or something.

Seriously though wtf, who the hell does that? Did he get caught and then talk? Or was he gonna get away scott free and then ratted on him?

Either way, dog move.
