this is my first attempt in horticulture

 

i made a box whit 1m x 1.2m x 0.6m, this will be the home for 2 plants, i want to drill some holes to put 120mm pc fans, from what i read i need around 200-250 cmf, one simgle fan have around 50 cmf, what is the suggestion about the number of the intake and the exhaust for the box and also how do i possition them. My second quistion is relatet about the nutrient, for the vegetating period what is the optimum ration of NPK (20-20-20 it is ok? at the moment the are about 10 cm high )

Do some reading but to answer your 2nd Q "NO" - Nitrogen levels should be about 9. Those NPK ratios look like flowering nutrient NPK ratios.

I find Nitty's comment somewhat curious. The veg nutes I use are NPK 23:4:18 and flowering is 6.2:14.6:16.8.

i have read about NPK but honestly ive read from 10 peeople and i get 10 diferent answers, the only thing i know is for vegetating i need greater % of N. Edited January 13, 2010 by khorinis

No again - N is for veg mostly (photosynthesis/metabolism) khorinis - plants do use some N in 12/12 but most is held in the greenery (leaves). some people, myself included continue veg nutes a week or 2 into flower.
