I think it really depends on whether you're already a 'person of interest' - if the po-pos are looking for a reason to roll up on you, seeds are as good an excuse as any.

But like Crank and my nanna always said, better safe than sorry...

I have had positive experiences with both planetskunk and seed bou, but ALWAYS used a pseudonym and prepaid disposable credit cards/bank deposit (that is, actually depositing cash in a named account, as opposed to a transfer from my own!)

People in Oz have been known to get busted because their seeds have been intercepted? When?

 

Psychonaut, ive been on these boards for best part of six years now and i can swear that there have been serious threads by ppl who have had a visit from state police as a direct result of buying seeds from overseas

 

the last thread i recall was about 18 months ago and yes they are few and far between, now i cannot be fucked searching through the forums to find these threads for you

 

frankly i dont give a rat's arse if you take my word for it or not as perhaps you know more than i do

 

i only post such warning in the hope that even just one person may save himself from becoming involved with the police and possibly carrying a criminal record with themselves for the rest of their lives

i hate to see threads telling of otherwise law-abiding Aussies caught up with by unjust Cannabis laws

Frazz I definitely dont know better or more than someone who has been around here for years, I am only just becoming familiar with the Aussie scenario. I have spent too much time on yank dominated forums, there it seems all customs do is confiscate seeds, send out a notice and thats that.

 

Will probably get someone else to get seeds for me from now on or make several orders in between grows. I am not really worried about using a credit card with Gypsy though, he has been in the business a long time and am sure he doesnt keep customer info around for long if at all, what he is doing is essentially legal where he is as far as I know too.

 

Pre paid credit card sounds like a good idea though

That sounds insane to me. Aren't you worried that there will be a Bank record of you purchasing cannabis seeds? It might be legal in England but it isn't here.

I am not aware of this being an issue ever, people do it all the time.

 

A good seed bank would be doing business under parent companies as well. Not as if it comes up as anything obvious on the statement. If it was traceable I am sure the growing community would be well aware of it, as well as the seed banks who would have their buyers interests in mind.

its better to be safe than sorry, and what customs usually do is stick it through a coffee grinder, if you order more than a certian amount then the state troopers come out. If you do it once, they send out a warning with a fine. Continual interceptions will result in the police at your door, if you pay via your own personal credit card it can be used in court against you. If you get caught the first time round with the fine usually you wont go on the list.
