Was wondering if anyone can tell me how safe(or can i get away with it) it is on ordering seeds overseas and getting them mailed to me in oz.

welcome here kromby alotta luck comes into play with your seed passing through the mail undetected and arriving safely, generally the odds are in your favour though and just spend what you can afford to lose

I have always used seedboutique.com without a problem, I am surprised its not mentioned here more often? I would use attitude except for no apparent reason they dont ship to AU.

 

Use credit card too and home address. I have never worried about it because I have never heard of anyone having legal problems over it, I think ordering seeds is the least risky part of growing.

 

I thought if they do catch them in the mail they just confiscate them too?

 

General rule is dont order more than 20 seeds as well because of stealth and the possibility of you getting ripped off.

there is no sane or valid reason to use your growing addy or your legit credit card, buying and bringing seeds into Aust. is illegal and ppl have been busted as a result of using their grow addy

Well maybe I will be a little more careful in the future, I have enough good seeds to last me a few years now.

 

People in Oz have been known to get busted because their seeds have been intercepted? When?

 

Its just taken quite lightly on other boards and the impression I was left with.
