Yo Luke, I use it. My hydro guy gave me different directions to the label...

spray one week before flower then at the onset of darkness every six days till you begin your flush. It's got a withholding peroid of 14 days, according to the manufacturer.

I havent sprayed as often as this, basically because I'm slack, but this grow I will try. I definately noticed bigger more solid buds when I started using it. This is as a foliar spray - 10 mls to one litre. If you can remember to do it every six days, give it a try. I reckon it will add more than 20 bucks worth of bud to your grow, and it should last a 400 watt setup about 12 grows at least, I'm only guessing. I've dove three and used about 20 percent of the bottle.

I forgot to mention that Gigantor to the left of the screen here is holding a bud that was grown with Superbloom as a foliar spray, and we all know how big he is right

I reckon it will add more than 20 bucks worth of bud to your grow ) i must say thats not very much at all, maybe if it added atleast half an oz to an oz it would be good, maybe u meant it will add around 200bucks worth of bud ?

No, I mean it costs 20 bucks a bottle and you get more than 20 bucks of extra bud

from the effects of that bottle, so the effects of the bottle are worth more than the static contents. Thank you....Thank you...

 

Seriously though, I don't know for sure - I'd guess around 15 - 20 % increase.

Thanks a lot Wassily, much appreciated. I've just turned the light down to 12/12 last week so I'll start soon. I used it on my first ever crop at the 5ml/l rate, every two weeks, but this was a bagseed sativa strain and I didn't really get much bud out of it. But I will add it to one of my blue widow ladies indoors and leave the other clean, see if there's an appreciable difference between the two.

 

So you would advise a 10ml/l rate? Every 6 days in flowering? And with the witholding period, what would be the effects to the smoke if you smoked before then? I try to go with the softest products possible, as I have some kitties to think about, and I grow a lot of my own food so I'm interested in keeping the chems down to a minimum. But this looked interesting, if it really does make that much difference I think I could suspend my normal "If it lasts a week on the plants don't use it." rules. I also try to double any withholding periods on chemicals, as they are often worked out by unrealistic environments, so I find it's better to be safe than sorry....

Oh, and one more thing, does the stuff have any effect on the yeild or size of other crops? Or is it more MJ specific? I mean, how about orchids or bulbs? And food crops. Obviously you would be more careful with food crops, but if you have any info on this I'd be most appreciative.

I use potash myself and I believe it does the same thing as all these wanky additives, that is it builds up inside the plant to add weight to the buds and size as well,

 

Im currently using potash and I wont go back, I love the shit its awesome,

Myself I use DM potash +.
