Malawi Gold

Recommended Posts

I've seen that before, its not too freaky, I had one plant that wouldn't grow the main centre leaflet on a few leaves, the centre leaflet was a tiny little shrivelly thing. freaky leaves are pretty common in home bred/accidental seeds sometimes.

Anyway mate, all I can say is that is not a sativa in any shape or form, It wouldn't be over 50/50 sativa I reckon. Maybe its a malawi gold x indica hybrid.

looking good none the less mate.

The person I got them off told me Malawi Gold was no good for indoors, I said I was going to do it anyway, so maybe they gave me an indoor strain and just told me they were Malawi Gold to keep me happy :P who knows, but since i got them for free I'm not complaining. but I agree, they don't look anything like the pure sativa pics I've seen around the net....

most definately not a pure sativa...if it were the leaves woulda been pencil thin so im with the guy b4 (soory dude im too stoned to remember names lol) that said it looks like a home bred/accidental seed....the mutant leaves i would assume came from imbreeding or it coulda been crossed with a duck strain...

anyways let us all know about how good the smoko is lol

Hi there pipeman, looking niiice there mate.

Can I ask ya something? :D Did you say you're going to start ferting with hydro nutes on the plant (s) with osmocote in them? Unless you're using a very short release brand, I woundn't recommend it. You will in all likelyhood end up with a nutrient toxicity or two... Of course, you may not even be considering this, but I thought that was the jist of your earlier post. What rate of osmocote did you use? And what type is it?

Looking forward to your answers, buddy. Oh, and very nice plants by the way, I can see why you were struggling with the pots! How big are those things?

Talk to you soon. B)
