how many plants?

If you were growing in the ground in a dug up plot, how many plants could you get in per m2, would you be best to leave as much space between plants as possible?

1. You want them to get as big as possible and to get as much light as possible so you dont want the plants shading each other.

hey mate.....

dig individual holes about 3m apart and about 1.5foot deep/wide....ya also wanna prep the holes with heaps of cow shit about a month prior to putting the plants in........however....wrong time of year mate...(in australia)..if you put seeds in now it would be a waste imo....

they would grow a little bit but not enought to go through such a big effort out bush

if it were me, i would be sussing out a spot out bush and prepping all the holes during winter.

yeah i know its late in the year, im just hoping that the QLD tropics should provide me enough of a summer left to finish my crop, its not an option waiting out till next summer as i plan to move by that time so i have to give it ago, this is my last chance.
