Indoor to outdoor

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I have just cut about 20 clones that I intend to put outdoors, the problem is that when I did this last year all the clones immediately started to flower even though it was the middle of december and we still had long summer days and I ended up with a lot of small plants not the 5 foot monsters that I was hoping for

This year I plant to veg the clones for a few weeks under a 600w until they are about two feet tall and then put them outside, I was curious to see if there was any tricks to stop these plants flowering, ideally I would like to veg them up inside and then put them outside with the plan that they hopefully grow another couple of feet before they start to flower in feb.

Can anyone help me with this??....I think it may be due to the fact that the outside light is not as strong as the HPS and the reduction in light strength is what causes them to flower.

Yeah Raven, I've got the same problem. Planted clones outdoors in December and they went into flower. I've just left them alone and they have started to revert back to the growing cycle again. They are around two feet tall, but I hope they grow a lot bigger. My normal harvesting time is end March/early April, so they've got nearly three months to grow yet. Time will tell.
