First Nutrients

Recommended Posts

Hello,

First time indoor grower, just growing in soil in potting containers suspended over a tray to catch the extra water. Nothing fancy.

The first plant is about a week and a half old, and is just starting to produce the serrated leaves between the seedling leaves. My question is when should I fertilise with veg nutes?

I've read a number of threads which advise to add nutes at 2-3 weeks but these are hydro setups. Does the same recommendation apply in this circumstance? Also, should i wait till the plant gets a bit bigger before adding nutes?

Regards,

Hi sangers,

sangers ....The first plant is about a week and a half old, and is just starting to produce the serrated leaves between the seedling leaves. My question is when should I fertilise with veg nutes?

Little plants like 1/4 - 1/2 strength nutrients for about now on. You may increase to full strength gradually to about 3-4 weeks when with experience, and a trained eye one may be able to sex thew plant.

best of luck sangers.

:D

Nitty.

Only thing is Advanced Nutrient's voodoo juice cost $ When I saw it, was like $60-$70 for a little bottle probably 1L. This hydro shop Can't remember what it was called, they have website and actuall stores you can go to in SoCal. brewed there own version of "voodoo juice" right in the store..I bought some, and my root growth EXPLODED. they only charged me like $25 for a gallon of it.... check your local hydro store, they might also make something like that, or check other brands as well.
