Pecan
Hi guys, I have a question about my first baby's premature death. It was fine when I checked it this morning, and about an hour ago I came home, and the stem had bent at soil level and it was drooping sadly against the plastic cup in which it was growing in. I've been growing it in a jiffy pot, and only watering it when the 'soil' turns a lighter brown colour. I'm not fertilising at the moment but I am watering it with mainly pond water. I leave it outdoors too so I don't reckon light is the major issue here. I've piled some more soil around it, so that it has more support now, but I'm not hopeful that it'll pull through..any suggestions as to what the problem is? I'm not sure what I was doing wrong =[The pic attached is what it looked like this morning, pretty much. Thankyou in advance.
Uncle Chop Chop
I recon it would have been the pond water. Should have been using distilled water or tap water that had been left to sit for 48hrs to evaporate the chlorine. Cheers Chops
