Growing in Fridge. Tips? Few questions. (Please read)

Recommended Posts

---So far we have covered the inside of the doors with mylar for reflection. Contemplating putting more.

---Put door locks on both fridge and freezer.

---Attached two hangers on the top of fridge so we can hang the lamp, also is easy to adjust instead of moving the plants closer.

---Purchased this 4in. duct fan for the air intake on the bottom. Is this the right fan to use?

---Purchased an 8in duct fan, like the one above for the exhaust fan, which is going to be attached to a carbon filter. Are these duct fans going to work? Any suggestions on fans, where i can get the in stores?

---I plan on using "emilys Garden" and only putting 4 plants in there. I think this would be the most cost effective set-up and would be good for me (beginner). Can I grow from start to finish (harvest) w/ emilys garden??

---As for LIGHTS I picked up a 300 watt hps w/ ballast. I think this is perfect. We are also going to line up 24 in 75 watt florescent lights on the walls for more light.

---All I need to pretty much do is drill the holes for the intake/exhaust...hook up the fans...and im ready to get this thing going!

San Francisco is where I will like to get my clones.

You think emilys garden will be a good set-up for me?

---Also, how am I going to control the temperature inside? I want to keep it in the garage and its 17 degrees outside, so its not much warmer in there. I think the 300 watt hps would help heat it up, maybe? What happens when the temp is hotter. in the 70's?

300w we don't have in Oz but sounds good. Side flouros? It's up to you, won't hurt but won't do a lot either. Lot of fucking around. Emily's buckets? I guess so? If that is dwc you will need an aquarium water heater. Room temps should be at least 15'C, don't worry if the fridge gets up past 30, they still grow, it's the root temp that needs to be kept between 15'C and 22'C

Those 8 inch fans should work but use 2 the same size or just one exhausting and 2 x 8 inch 'passive' inlets (with no fan) will still work.

Crank her up
