Hydroponic nutrients

Recommended Posts

I have been told that a few drops of bleach with a lil bit of sugar into the water you put cut flowers into will extend there life by a few days.

This was told to me by my best mates (rip dude) mum she goes every month to put flowers on his grave and i have seen her do it and must admit it dose seem to extend there life when all other flowers around are dead or close to dead, i have no clue on the since behind it but it dose seem to work (mum and my nanna dose the same thing), and i aint going to argue with them lol.

From what she said it stops the water going off longer than strait water would so it keeps the flowers alive longer and the sugar it ment to be like a nute to help the flower to live that lil longer.

Yep, thats the idea ozzy, I also find that just a dash of vitamin B solution is also beneficial to flower longevity, but I cheat and use extremely dilute nutes (actually a recovery/repair nutrient) instead of sugar and H2O2 instead of bleach , I get flowers actually looking better after a few days and lasting right through their bloom cycle (over a week in some cases).

See! hydro nutes are good for something!!

lol

we are talkin bout canna and DM

i dont know about DM but canna

well

i have reasoned with them at the mardiGrass in nimbin

your right they dont get it

they wanted to sponcer mardiGrass 1 year

we had indepth raves with them

i said no because at that stage they had no organic nutrients

we reasoned for a long time on how scientists & botanists come up with design specific NPK fertlizers for say tommartos

they do a complete annalisis of the tommarto leaf and fruit and then make a ballance of NPK the same

so they did that with cannabis and

then they released canna

at that stage we were reasoning bout how virmiculture could be employed to do the same ting

seen

make design specific cannabis fertz and nutrients from strictly organic renewable sources

canna is a poor attempt

try gen

next time they tried we reasoned about strictly organic aquaponics

organic nutrinets from fish

astill microbes are responcible for proccessing the fish poo to available hydro nutrients

they didnt get that either

then they release the aqua line of nutrients

another poor attempt

so i find it difficult to defend canna

however

the fact remains

plants,

all plants <------dont eat chemicals

chemicals are not available to the plant roots

plants eat strictly salts

all the nutrient salts in the soil are produced on demand by soil microbes

chemicals kill microbes

seen

in hydro

all nutrient sollutions are 100% salts and water

there is 100% no chemicals in hydro nutrients

some salts are sysnthizied by chemists like canna

and some are sourced organicly like guado

still all the nutrients in guano are just not available to the roots till the microbes proccess it

microbial tecknollagy has just hit the market

and is the next big move forward for farming

bio-dynamics is based around microbal tekz

the reason for the final flush is to fource the plant to use up all the available nutrients stored in the leaf

and transport it too the budz

its a matter of efficiency

as for tast better

well

thats pure subjective

strictly personal tast

and i personal tastes

IMHO

organic hydro rulez

next is organic soil

irey guidance

You say your happy to back up your information but just tell people to search some of the international sites  I can find a site about just any topic but I would like to know what you are basing your claims on not what Google can find for me.

All very good points Pure; I could find you documented scientific evidence that smoking a pack of smokes a day is good for aerobic fitness; does it matter it's sponsored by the tobacco lobby?
