almost all would agree that the optimum kelvins (as far as cfl's are concerned) for your veg cycle is 6400k or 6500k and 2700k for your flower cycle. but of late ive notice 14000k veg cfl's on the market... are they better? are they too strong? have you used them? can someone bring me up to date? aquarium? :) a fluro tube maybe... like an 18 or 30watt.... BUT its already established that given the right setup, multiple compact fluorescent lights (cfl) at 250-500watts each is a totally viable lighting environment to grow almost any vegetation in. but anyways, in short you couldn't answer any of my questions... why leave a reply?????? looking for answers guys, not your two fucking cents....

congratulations... your input had naught to do with my post... once again why leave a reply in the first place? do you like the sound of your own voice? do you double back and re-read your post later on feeling well chuffed for yourself? there is no logical reason for why you left a reply! i may be new to this forum, doesn't mean i'm a noob... once again looking for facts, just straight up facts...

I'm bored, and rather pleasantly stoned off the small amount of herb I've recently pulled from a small full CFL run.

if we take my 1st response, I can expand on it somewhat...

never used em

I personally have never used the high K CFL lamps but I'm also one of very few members that is interested in the use of CFL lamps and recently spent a lot of time looking into such.

TTBOMK best used as supplemental rather than primary light.

Most of the information I found was by growers using these high K lamps in addition to rather than replacement of the 'cool white' level lamps.

The high kelvin CFLs are often used in aquariums.

and I'm not sure whether it is more about regular aquarium plants or just corals. In either case the impact of growing the thing in water seems to have some impact on their desirability for use in this manner. Most don't use them for dope.

so keg, your question was answered.

don't let the door hit your butt.
