I've got this feeling, an actual feeling, that legalization is not far out of our grasp, does anyone share this feeling or is it just me being young and naive?

 

I don't think so no crunchy, decriminalization defiantly imo. There is still alot of fighting ahead though. It isn't won yet. The truth is on our side though. Shout it from the roof tops and tell anyone and everyone you know that medical cannabis IS COMING in Australia and why. It's just a matter of time before the lies of the government crumble imo....and then as my signature says........

indeed they are, i think a lot is going to change once california has legalized for a few months or a year or so and the statistics come out, especially if another state follows it within that time. then people will see legalization works and is beneficial, then peoples of all nations (almost all... i dont think any movement would be easy to maintain in china...) will say 'they did it so why cant we'? is a letter that states that in the doctors oppion

she/he recomends that you should continue to selfmedicate with cannabis thearpy

becaus cannabis thearpy is a safer alturnitive than the usual percribed medicine

I'd like to think personal use, possession and cultivation be decriminalised.

 

IMHO there are too many vested interests fighting such for it to happen in my lifetime. (OK, that may be slightly pessemistic)

Radic i dont understand ... you say in Closet Growers "busted " thread that Cannabis has recently been 're-scheduled as an S8'

 

if that is in fact the case why cannot a doctor prescribe it as they prescribe other S8 drugs?

i think the board reschedualed cannabis extracts (THC, CBD) to a different name (cant remember what, started with m i think), then made that substance S8. in order to allow Sativex to be prescribed to patients.

Yeah, I recall seeing something similar myself, and wondered about the legal implications for whole herbal extracts or even whole herbal substances as legally prescribable medicine.

all the others were all synthetic or in pure form

NABIXIMOLS is the first Botannical cannabis extract

from real budz

thats why cannabis was moved from S9 to S8

and even then special provissions has to be added

NABIXIMOLS has not been approved yet

it is still in process

so

maybe the doctor can put you on the waiting list

or you can apply to import it your self
