Bong Cleaning

Just wondering if anyone either has tried or knows if the salt water trick actually works. I'm a lil weary as salt would definetly degrade grommits faster.

 

We all know the wonders of Eucolyptus Oil so please, any other methods...

The best method readily available in Aus is a product called De-Solv-It (a bio degradable citrus based cleaner) and a little salt, you only need enough to allow the salt to swish around for a few seconds then rinse well with hot water and it's done.

Metho and rock salt (or rice if ya povo).

 

half cup salt, one cup metho give it a good shake , then a good rinse and viola

 

Oh, and dont buy cheap metho, cheap metho these days smells like its half turpentine and leaves a greasy residue

Thanks Very Much Guys but tell me do these methods leave any after-taste??

 

As I use herb to temper my Aspergers I am extremely sensitive to taste and cannot have any strange tastes with my herb. Exactly the reason why I can't smoke through plastic bongs, they taste funny to me.

 

I have a Bubbler on order and have heard they are very hard to clean, does anyone have any methods for "In-Session"? I:E anything in the water to prevent build up?

Not if you rinse well, add detergent then rinse again if you want to be 100% sure.

Buy a vaporiser............one of the easiest things to clean I have ever owned..........hardly even get's dirty and when it is 'dirty' it's only oil.........nice......

Well Flatcat I wanna try a Vape but have been told that they just don't give the same hit as a bong. I have no idea if this is true coz I've never known anyone with a Vape. Apart from My parents I am the only person I know who smokes and my parents only smoke Blunts so yeah... I have heard that Vapes are cleaner, but honestly can you taste the plastic from the bag?

Yep, vapes hit completely different to a bong, I have plenty of both and prefer the bong but still vape every now and again when the mood strikes me.

I always just use long grain rice with Metho.

 

Swish your metho and rice around and its crystal clear pretty darn quick!

 

Sure made me regret buying 5 chamber bongs back in the day...all the pipes and chambers sent me nutty while cleaning. 2 Chambers all u need anyhow
