potting up

Recommended Posts

do you know if thay are root bound if thay are i would re pot them but even if thay aint i would still repot as the root zone of the plants can be bloody big and when u flower it will give them more growing room (when i grew outdoors i got me self a wizpin and cut it in half and use that as my pot but no good for indoors) i could be wrong but that in what i learnt from growing in pots that were a bit small but some 1 eals may be able to give better advice

p.s.after you repot then thay will take a few days to kick on agane but will grow better :o

I would repot before you put them into flower, remember the plants will have a growth spurt under the soil as well as on top when going in to flower so you need to give them plenty of room for a good root mass.

I repoted into 14 Lt pots when I went to flower and it seems to have gone alright. I have heard of people using larger pots too.

When you repot, place the current pot into the new pot with some soil underneath so the rims of both pots are at the same height then pack soil round the sides. When you take the pot out you should have a hole the exact shape of your root mass in the new soil so you can place it straight in, this way you limit the amount of damage to the roots and improve the plants recovery time from being repotted.

I'm not sure if that makes sense, if not just ask
