medical marijuana

i can totally agree with medical uses of marijuana and use it for such. but for the life of me, i cant comprehend how it can b held in the class of narcotics.(like it is in the u.s.)(im aware of the history as to why it was placed there yea) when in fact it holds many areas of perspectives for medical uses not limited to pain killing properties, and in my opinion is no way a narcotic. i open this topic for facts, opinions and speculations, please share ur thoughts on how this is a narcotic or how it isnt in ur eyes, i am seeking info for sending to norml and high times,far out magizine. no identity info will b disclosed,all i want is info/opinions,speculations any thoughts on this matter, on why it is or why it isnt . the power is in the minds of the people and the more thoughts i can gather to express the better, all points of views and ideas will b thrown together as a general data collection(meaning no names ,places or nething like that will b disclosed) to assist in the legalization or decriminalization/ reform for us all. thanks for ur help and ideas in advance.
