Average ambient temps around OZ

House.. it was 40 degrees outside yesterday and 37 odd the day before.

Its pretty cool today so my rooms maintaining low 20's easily..

Its the coolest room of the house, gets the least sun. I like the idea of building a shaded area

coming off that side of the house, outdoor setting and some potted plants, its a good stealth excuse to shade that wall.

Provided you give good ventilation and keep temps under 30 or so you should be fine. Don't feel you have to provide "perfect" temps that stay stable and are always the same, it's quite a tolerant plant.

 

But yeah, the amount of cooling effect from plants simply placed next to the house should never be underestimated.

So after googling and searching i cant find any straight forward info on

averge temps around oz. Im sick of battling summer heat in the grow room, fucks me right off.

Where in oz is the average temp. 20-25?

Was talking to my mate bout an underground grow bunker today. That would be good fun

mate o' mine had an underground grow in NE NSW ~20yr ago. Got paranoid about it and closed it down when he heard about someone doin' similar being buried alive. Several of his neighbors asking why he ran his genny 18hrs/day contributed to the paranoia.

 

Best one I've heard of till recently (when on this site I was pointed to the cave in the US) was the guy that buried (some number of, I heard 4) shipping containers with a foot or 2 of dirt over them, somewhere SE QLD, entry via the outhouse.

Ive been underground diggin for opals, good excuse to run a gennie ay

Id like a room like right under my house, concrete floor, walls.. kinda like a basement really.

Build the optimum grow environment, sealed, full control over temps and all that jazz

Hire a vacuudig and dig the hole; access via the main bedroom. under the floor of a built in robe with a roll out floor would work well.

 

Wine cellars are common renos these days as are fire bunkers.
