Average ambient temps around OZ

So after googling and searching i cant find any straight forward info on

averge temps around oz. Im sick of battling summer heat in the grow room, fucks me right off.

Where in oz is the average temp. 20-25?

Nowhere in Oz I know of. The only place you will find that as the average temp all year round is on the equator at altitude. A couple of places in PNG I know of but not in Oz sorry.

basically FC, not suprising in this country of extremes, but you spiked my interest. I knew the stats were on the BoM site so got those links easily.

 

a quick google on 'most temperate climate in Australia' suggests similar to stats in that mid coast NSW, down through the Murrumbidgee, extending to Melbourne, and across to Adelaide, is about as 'temperate' as we get. The whole area gets into -Cs overnight in winter and break 40+ in summer.

Insulation and ventilation (aside from aircon) are pretty much all you can do. Don't underestimate how cool a house can be with good insulation.

They have good testimonies but its just hard to pick a scam these days.

I was actually thinking about using insulation inside my room and another layer of gyprock

over the top, like double insualation, wot do u think? maybe im smoking too much

I found the "Green Stuff" to be quite good insulation, and it isn't harmful like gold/pink bats can be, as it's made from plastics rather than glass.

 

What kind of situation are you in? Shed or house? Just shading the side of the house which the growroom is in with some shadecloth can make a big difference, as can growing climbing plants on the wall side.
