250w hps in a grow tent .8x.8x.45m

hey i was thinking of getting anather small grow going and seen some small grow tents called budboxes and was wondering if anyone has tryed putting a 250w hps light in it will have 2 4 inch fans

 

also how many plants do you think i could fit in it if i went 12/12 from rooted clone, i will be growing in 6lt pots and the plants are white widdow from nirvarna

Those bud boxes are made for fluro and cfl lights that are more compact and run cooler than HPS or MH, allowing for closer growth.

With HID lights you might get away with 150w but 250w would most likely give you a world of grief with temps and burn.

 

IMHO budboxes are only good for seedraising/ cloning/ bonzai mums.

thanks also would 1 130w grow lamp and 130w flower bulb be enought light for the tent

Yeah should do, have a look at the lighting calculator in cannaversity to get an idea what is required.

yea the light calculator said the max for a budbox is 235w but im thinking of geting a 250w cfl of ebay ther only 49$ and puting it in there, also how many plants if i go 12/12 from clone
