dunno, it's just an unusual smell

Recommended Posts

I was informed today.

There are several reasons why there may be such 'unusual smell'.

The soundproofing of the front few rooms which are too freakin close to a busy road and are also mainly places of slumber includes blocking the vents most rooms have and windows which are normally closed 24*7. Stale air and a degree of damp smell is normal.

The 18yr old cat that was put down some time ago has left his mark. He was a tidy little rascal when he was younger but as age caught up with him he sometimes forgot tidiness, quite often sometimes in fact.

and a rather large wardrobe full of (so far not very good) dope.

I did make some small attempt at getting a description of this 'unusual smell' but, (may I say) for obvious reason, I didn't push it.

The way I figure it is I might be growing shit dope but at least it stinks like the real thing. :-)

With a bit of luck I'll get more bits of paper with numbers on 'em and maybe be able to deal with one aspect of the problem, carbon filter time.

and I'm not really SO disappointed I bought an inline rather than centrifugal fan. Which leads to a question.

55L/s inline fan is currently sucking out of my combined (veg+flo) 1.2 cubic meters area for my current (can't be bothered counting) ~30 plants, from clones to harvest, various stages. (and I have vacant spots for more pots)

I was already thinking of getting a 2nd fan, push air in as well as suck it out.

Do I really need to go to centrifugal or will 2 inlines supply enough push to go through a filter?

TIA

it's, how shall I say this? a rather unusual setup. https://cannabis.community.forums.ozstoners...25102&st=64

When running at capacity I expect 40odd plants, 9 pots in the flowering room with 2-3 plants each, 4 pots and a tray in veg. Heck, who knows, I may even get back to the original idea of 4 plants per pot, 8 clones in a tray, total 60. However, I won't be at capacity for a while because I need to set another 8-10 for outdoors.

Veg is less than 0.5m^3, flo is ~0.75m^3. I'm experimenting with the idea of running many _small_ plants and hoping to pull a couple of oz per fortnight. So far the result has not been too good but if I stop almost killing em things _will_ improve. It's also my 1st attempt using soil under lights, and 1st run using fluoros, most of my previous work, more than a few years ago, was a 24*12 garage setup with NFT and mixed HID.

Got any pointers to how fogging helps with smell?

I HAVE BUDS!!! you bl00dy conceited shithead :-)

extremely small and not very sticky buds, I'll admit, and I'm smokin' Js like cigarettes, but even the eldest ladies in flower at the moment, the ones I almost killed, HAVE BUDS.

There are currently 6 pots in flower. 3 of those contain plants that were almost killed, 1 has the smallest plants I've ever put to flower, and the plants from the remaining 2 are not much bigger. However, so far the small ones are healthy and pistalling all over the place. so NER!!!!

That's an example of what I was talking about, these odour eating gells are great for piss weak flouro grows where extremely small not very sticky buds are producing enough smell to give a cfl grower a hard on ;)
