lighting tracks

mmm thinking about getting some tracks as 2 600w is heating up the room too much so i was thinking if i use a track and just use 1 600w will it still do the same area as 2 600w.. but it will just lower the heating!!does anybody have these or know anything about them?

how hot? what temps are you getting with lights on and off

do you have an inlet fan or just passive(free flowing) inlet, is it big enough?

you could always try cooltubes or coolshades bit of a bitch to hook up with a carbon filter but doable

i have an inlet and outlet fan 6inch im pretty sure.. its around 26 31 during the day and 23 25 maby less on colder days!

im thinking about making the outlet hole bigger but i can only one run light.. maby i should downsize to 2 400w when i have 6 plants in there but there is only 3 at the moment which suits its ok..

 

im really keen on looking at thoes tracks where the lights moves slowey around the room!!!

it should with 1 x 600w over 2m

with the cost of a light mover you could get 2 cooltubes or 2 coolshades

and be left with some change for more goodies

last time i was looking at light movers they wanted about $250 for it

that was a few years ago so i dunno if they have dropped in price

 

26-31 isn't to bad as long as you have good air flow,water temps and the lights not to close

i have those adjustable wings on them the large silver ones!! its fine with 1 600w but if i use the second one it's just too hot!!

i brought one of those can fans! put it on as an outtake and its working fine!! its made such a difference to the room, thats why im leaning more towards tracks.. plus they only need to move 2100 up and back in a straight line! but i wont be able to use those wings if i decide to go the tracks because it will hit things on my wall id just have to go back to the stranded one!! but for the moment 3 plants is fine under the one light.. the only problem is there too close to the wall once they start growing out there going to need to be in the center of the room! but my aim is to get 5 or 6 plants in the room.. its l2100 h2100 w1400.. there not much room to move around in there but its still early days as this is my first room so its a learning curve for me!!! another thing is i have 2 400w as well maby if i was to do 5 plants i could use 2 or 3 400w.. but i think i have my heart set on tracks.. because the room will handle the one light and i can cover the whole room with the one light! i was happy today as it was pretty hot and my room stayed lower inside the room than outside!! i think someone told me tracks where about $200 2hand.. ill have to start hunting them down..
