Information bullitin:

 

Information from the Drug Legislation and Enforcement office says that changes to the Criminal Justice Bill planned to give police the power of arrest for simple possession of a class C drug will not be brought before Parliament before November and therefore it is highly unlikely that reclassification would happen before then

I can't really see any point to the reclassifiacation of cannabis now. Had

Blinkett done it a year ago as originally planned - ie simply downgraded it

to class C as was, then it might have achieved something. Now they've

narrowed the difference between C and B to the point it's really not worth

the effort of making the change

 

It's certainly not worth anything to us and I don't think will make any

significant difference to anyone

 

Reclassification is a total waste of time and not worth getting worked up

There are quite a few cannabis coffee shops springing up in the UK right now, if they keep on opening then it'll be harder for LEO to arrest everyone involved. Hopfully this might make the difference and force the law to rethink?... Well, wishfull thinking anyway.

im growing a bit of weed a the mo, i won't tell you how much i'm growing just incase, but once its harvested and i can only get done for possesion, then i will. but to the point. radical freethinking here but what would happen if the british government grew and sold marijuana to coffee shops at a cheaper price than the dealers were. then it would no longer be economically viable for the dealers to opperate and users of the fat leafed ganja wouldn't get done for possession or growing it. becasue it would only be for personal use as there wouldn't be a market to sell it, anybody thinks this is a good solution, then feel free to e-mail me and if we get enough people then we will do some form of petetion or write to the government. also the selection of weed on offer would go up by so much, so those of u out there who can't get the really good weed, then there is one good reason alone for helping me,
