On The Punch today (online Oz news/media site) they feature an article on the UK scientist sacking, the best bit is the forum, great to see so many responses:

Ive just been reading the comments on The Punch re the link I posted earlier.

Im urging all users of this forum to log on and read the ridiculous/offensive comments being posted by someone called Tony.

We need to post sensible stuff in response to this nutter.

On the other hand Im glad to see that the whole weed issue has been thrust into the limelight, with many stoners coming out of the closet....fascinating stuff.

No worries, Im not getting too worked up, I just think forums like The Punch give us a great opportunity in the wider media to get our message across - and I know exactly what a Troll is thanks to my addiction to www.huffingtonpost.com.au - thankfully there seems to be more trolls in America than here!

That they do, I like reading the for and against comments regarding cannabis on all sites specially aussie ones.

 

Always interesting to hear what the 'people' have to say and not the media.

The government is the servant of the people and not the other way around. If enough people want something then the government MUST comply, if they don't then a referendum can be held to change the government.
