Just started tieing down my plant.

Ok so 2day i started tieing down my plant and was wondering if it looks like im doin it right?

Diffrent ppl will have diffrent ways of doing it.

 

You do what you find works for you and yes by the looks of how u have done it looks ok, just take ya time with every few days shorten the string so it ties it down that bit more.

 

How have you got the string attached to the plant, if have it tied to the stem you will have to keep an eye on it as the stem frown u will have to loosen the knot as it will cut into the stem as it grows and gets fatter...

its there atacked just by putting the string around them not tied or anything, i couldn't figer out whats the best way to attach it the the branches so its just like wraped around it so i tied the string to the screw in the side of my pot then went around the branch and tied the other end to the screw again.

is there a better way to tie it to the branches?

How you have will be ok...

You'll find it easier to get a paper clip, rebend it, hook it around the plant, hook the string around the paper clip and pull down, then tie off but keep going, like oz said you'll get the hang of it

I'll echo what bufo marinus said, the paperclip is a good & easy way to secure your plant instead of having to untie your strings everytime you have to adjust them, also everyone has their own way & you need to do it so that it suits your situation, but how you have it tied is ok. Like ozzy420 said just shorten the strings when needed & you'll be right & good luck, I hope it grows well.
