Recommended Posts

If roots r spread all over u need bigger pot man, aint matter if soil is shit or not she is root bound, DONT make it hard, repot here like anyother plant mate, pull her out put her in and water, Just keep tellin ya self i can do this i can do this :bongon:.

Not watering the repotted plant works better.

Pre-water the plant youre potting up a day before then repot it into new soil and chuck it under the sun.

Hi reddevil6,

wilderbud.........Not watering the repotted plant works better.

So bloody mindlessly cruel wilder ................ I have done re-pots into "pot up" (bigger pot) and "pot downs" (root trim & smaller pot). I must say the rare times I have not watered in (lightly - depending on saturation on opening bag) was when going into a larger pot.

PS/I'm passed working with compost mixes, and well over soil & hydro. :bongon:

Love the 95%/5% Coco/hydrotron clay pebbles

:bongon:

Nitty.

Hi, hope iam catching you in time, repotting big ass plants usually leaves a scar on the root system since it is massive.

1. If you can take some branches out (clones?) so the root system will have to support less leaf mass

2. cut your way trough before you take it out with saw (the roots are usually attached to the pot wall)

3. be gentle when you re-pot use a lot of water

4. since the roots will be shocked -folier feed with an npk spary for about a week - 2 hours before the lights go out and two hours before the lights go on (if you can) - thats 2 times a day

hopes this helps
