some sly dog let slip roses are quite similar in terms of nutrients required for flowering.

nonetheless i purchased some slow release rose fertiliser which doesn't quite fit the magical 10:2:5

ratio i hear about for development

 

its still in the tub so i can return it no problems.

Slow release ferts are a no no for cannabis, its a fast growing plant that needs small feeds, often. None of the slow release stuff. Not much nitrogen in flower, that will make for long fluffy buds. Lots of nitrogen in the vegging phase is good though.

 

Take it back imo, give them some regular feeds of dynamic lifter or the like. I don't know any of this stuff through practice, but I read a lot, so I hope that helps.

there is nothing 'magical' about 10:2:5 fertilizer but it may suit growth stage .. this is a weed you are growing and does very well on a very wide range of available elements, as i understand it the plant will take what it needs ... dynamic lifter works well as does rose food, perhaps slow release is not ideal ...

Ive got mine in a smallish pot with rose seedling potting mix at the moment.

 

dynamic lifter pellets on the top ~ 10 - 15 of them.

 

200ml water in the morning and the evening + Good sunlight!

yea dynamic lifter has the bonus of being totally organic animal shit manure, which has gotta be a good thing doesnt it ..

imo the dynamic lifter feeds the soil as well as creates a healthy environment for the plants' roots .. its bloody marvellous

yeah first fert i saw was dynamic lifter there are a few different kinds of it tho some for roses and just the normal stuff im going to the shop now to check it out

Get the general Npk by www.healthyearth.com.au, best one i tried in 12 grows you dont need anything else - about a table spoon for every 15ltr of soil and you can forget about feeding issues for 14-20 days.

 

Does veg + flower you dont need any thing else besides a good growth stimulator (they will do fine anyway)
