curing methods

I know I may get shot especially some of the older stoners here but, I usually don't dry my weed. I pick and pack stright off the plant itself. (You do get used to the chlorophil taste but the weaker the better of course). Weed near me is always crisis-type shortage so if I get more buds ripening than I can smoke, (yeah right!), I call some friends and show em what is there and hand them a razor or fine pair of scissors. Pick ya own you might say. I would like to try drying them with the next lot I got. The 'wet' buds(Not dried just straight from the plant) I have sampled so far are pretty impressive as far as potency is concerned and considering I am a 1/2oz per fortnight person on my own, well you get the idea.

 

I WILL say one thing before people jump on me from great heights though, and that is: pro-dried buds are definately better tasting than the stuff I smoke from the plant. I have no argument there guys n gals. I think the main prob for me is because I am a 25/75 recreational/medical user, if my back hurts, I 'endure' chlorophil taste as long as the kick is there despite maybe being only 1/2 of its potency potential compared to what it COULD be if I could dry them first.

 

I am learning self discipline in this area and the moment of truth is maybe 3-4 weeks away for my babies. I hope I posted this in the correct forum but it seemed appropriate to post it here.

hey tokealot towards the end of my harvest I started to pic bud off the plant, but I vape it. Personally I haven't noticed any real difference between wet bud and dry bud in the vape.

Wow i have never heard of anyone smoking straight of the plant but if its for pain.........

Pipeman i have never thought of using my vap to smoke straight of the plant but i have got my scissors and am heading out to my room to give it a go as i have only got shit left to smoke from my last plantl ::

why not just fast dry it??

Weekprik: Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I can take criticism BUT, now it is your turn.

 

You say that wet weed doesn't burn or smoke? Yeah it does and very harsh. Maybe you should try proper weed and not leaf man. Thanks for the feedback though week, I was hoping for a justified response not unconstructive criticism but I have broad shoulders, let's see if you do. It was just my experience to those who care. It was not meant to be 'gospel' so to speak.

 

A vape might be the way to go I am thinking so I'm off to see what I can find in vapes.

green matter will burn eventually, every time you try to light it, it is being exposed to heat from the lighter and gets drier.....it is possible, not advisable, but possible...
