Interesting bagseed pheno

Hey everyone i was just wondering if anyone could shed any light on this seedling that i got from bagseed. It has 3 branches per node, is this a result of mutagen induced polyploidy? or is it just a normal weed pheno that i have never seen before? (I have always thought they only had 2 branches per node).

That is what we call trifolate, not as rare as you might think but always sought after as a novelty. One problem however, is that a disproportionate percentage seem to be male.

Keep it and pray for a female, cos it could be something special.

I've never had one m'self but then probably 90+% have been clones.

That is a very rare mutation called a Triplenodeit it can happen to most cannibis its not bad at all in fact if it is female you can end up with 50 % more bud it should pack a lot of dense bud if its a girl and if it is i would suggest to top it any where from 5 to 12 nodes you will end up with a tripple top cola. Even more rare is a Quadnode witch will produce four nodes on each side. only found one pic

there is a seed co specializing in breeding triplenodeit plants called rickys seeds.

I`ve always been under the impression that they`re call trifoliate and that it just means "three leaves" are you sure you`re not confused with Polyploidy? ..... (page 60 in Marijuana Botany)

Yes your correct the mutation is trifoliate and I called it the breed of a plant that has trifoliate phenos The info came from Visit My Website and he calls the plants he breeds (Triplenodeits) he has found a way to take a trifoliate and stableize it in a strain of marijuana. He is crazy cause hes charging 10 or 20,000 for 10 seeds.just thought its interesting.

Hmm, looks like one of the dodgier seed banks I have come across.

 

edit: LMFAO, he's named one of his strains 'Pineapple Express' now thats just tryhard.
