Can u clone directly into soil?

Ok if i ever want to make clones i will need to know this.

I know my grandad used some cloning powder for non cannabis plants and put strrait into the ground and they turned out fine. but i have some dutch master clone fast rooting gel i was wondering if i could dip a cutting into this gel and put it strait to soil will it work or not

YES - just keep the moisture up and a dome over to keep RH up.

The gel is probably not the best stuff to be using to propogate in soil. However, it's probably better to use it than simply poke a stick in the dirt (which I do).

I've just finished reading up on propagating natives......and it's fine to use gel in dirt.....matter of fact it's advisable to use some sort of hormone. Just make sure that your soil is well draining and very loose (ie seed raising mix)
