My light kinda buzzes, on and off?

I'm not sure if it's the light or the bit that the cords go into, but it's only intermittent and it's not much worse than the sound you get shortly after turning a fluro kitchen light on, if a little noisier.

From what I understand it's not too much of a problem...is this the same deal for you?

I have no basis of comparison really, it's the first light I've used and the first time I've used it.
