Withdrawal sweating

Recommended Posts

Agree. You're imagining it or its something else that you happen to have when you've given up. Withdrawls from pot! :) It'd have to be one of the least addictive drugs around. :)

I believe this fully....i sweat something fierce when i go without, it lasts for 3 days in total every single time, i wake up nearly drenched, hence why i always leave my cones b4 bed, even though it seems to defeat the purpose of having a cone.

:D

Heya there,

SOme interesting points ...

I'd just like to mention ... Maybe it's your bedding ... When you are stoned as and zonk out , you probably won't feel bothered by a rise or drop in temperature so much ...

When you get straight ... you'll be using the similar bedding and still overheated ... like a dooner ...

Which is why I thought about dooners see ...

Nearly all Dooners are not thermally decent in Australian climate ... excepting the most coldest parts like the snowies and Tasmania and others ...

Ever wonder about why when you stayed at your grandparents house .. or maybe an old aunty or frind that they would have layers and layers? ... like , an undersheet , a sheet , a thicker sheet , a blanket , (maybe another even thicker blanket) and a bed-spread? ...

Well aside that you can kick off the layers ... this is more suited to our climate , even in winter.

The layers each trap also a layer of air that is very useful in insulating the body whilst also letting it breathe at the same time ...

A single thick (warm and comfy no doubt) Dooner as the basis of warmth is for when it is very cold.

Alot of people unkowingly dehydrate themselves throught their sleep (and sweat ofc) purely because of the Bedding they choose to use ... might barely notice it but it does make a difference ...

(Goes back to the cave to find a comfy rock) :)

ANyway , just thought I'd mention that ... I can't get started on the dream aspect right now , but to say ... I get Awesome dreams all the time :) heheh

Cheerz

Budman :)

You're not the only one; I get night sweats if I do not smoke at least every two days. I do not think it has to do so much with with how you/we enjoy the medicine;( being that I use blunts, vaporizers, pipes and jays.) but how much medicine we use....I intake on a normal bases anywhere from 3.5 g to 9 g a day..depending on harvest to sleep good at night. Don't be alarmed the night sweats decrease after 2-3 days max,and I got night sweats worse when I quit ciggarettes I'll ask my doctor about it. I've been chaffing for ten years.

I love it how all the weed purists always argue that weed isnt addictive. I smoked cigarettes for about 4 years when I was younger and had no problem quitting when I wanted to. Years later when I took them up casually with mates or when I was on it and clubbing etc, I still had no problem stopping whenever I wanted, Id buy a pack for when I went out and as soon as that pack was gone or I was at home I wouldnt smoke again for weeks, sometimes months.

Sometimes I find myself smoking cigarettes when I have no weed in the vain hope it will stop the weed cravings. It doesnt. The simple fact is I dont really enjoy smoking ciggies, but I fucking love my weed. Weed can definitely be addictive as all fuck, and psychological symptoms can easily turn into physical ones. The amount of times I treated my ex GF like garbage and went off my brain for no reason just because I didnt have weed is ridiculous, I withdrew big time and was too young and immature to control it.

On many occasions I tried to quit weed but found it easier just to keep going as I couldnt handle the heroin addict like withdrawals of mood swings, anger, insomnia, lack of appetite, etc. None of which I experienced when I stopped smoking ciggies because at the end of the day I didnt love it as much as cannabis and didnt care when I stopped. The psychological cravings gave way to physical symptoms which tricked me into smoking more dope!

OP - night sweats can definitely be a symptom of withdrawal from weed, especially considering 5g a day is a LOT of fucking weed! I consider myself a heavy smoker and wouldnt have more than 2g's a day on average, maybe more when I grew my own and there was more sitting there. If you go from 5g's a day to none at all expect to have some side effects, but it's not something I'd worry about.

Ive been smoking since I was 20 so that's 17yrs. In that time Ive stopped for 1yrs with np and have had many breaks due to out of buds. I'm out ATM for a week and I'm a 2g a day consumer.

Can't say I like not having my medicine, but to claim I'm as hard up as a heroin addict seems...well.... crocodile tears lol

Sweating/dreaming/feeling shite is all part of life, a few days of it isn't too hard and not worth the QQ Btw 5g a day is SHIT LOADS I'm surprised you were still getting stoned consuming that much. 5.4Oz a month ;)

Peace all

My experience with tobacco and pot have been the complete opposite to yours. Strange?

If you have "treated your girlfriend like garbage" maybe you should take responsibility for your own actions rather than blame the lack of pot (or anything else). This is laughable.

I have not touched heroin myself but have known others that have been addicted. To compare cannabis to heroin is insulting and ridiculous.

I cpuldent agree more weed and heroin are so far apart when it comes to drying out from them both ( and never should be put in the same class) i have been there with both and weed a night or 2 of feelin like u have the flu is nothing like a week+ of going through a week+ of a hell, they are just not in the same class...
