Q about pc fans and intake solutions

Recommended Posts

Alrighty, someone here will probably think this is a silly question but to be honest with you I'm stumped. Currently my grow-drobe is running a little hot for my liking (26-30 degrees during the day, yeah i know not the end of the world but id like to see it come down a few degrees, so my question is this, I want to add some active intake, currently I have a few vents supplying fresh air but I want to lower the temp beyond what vents can do, so I ask, what is more beneficial, higher rpms or higher cfm, now i know that rpm is the speed of the fan and cfm is how much air it moves, but it just seems odd to me that a fan that when held against your skin feels like its hardly moving can push more air than a fan that make you feel like your in a gale, so yeah I'm just curious as to what would be better, a fan that you can feel working, or a bigger fan that doesn't seem to be doing much but apparently is.

mmm i just thought it was odd, cause ive got a 120mm fan at the moment and it spins at 1200rpm and apparently pushes 39 cfm, but i just thought it was weird that it could move so much air but feel like its not at all, maybe i shouldnt talk about modifying my cupboard this blazed xD

A thermostat, most hydroponic stores have them online ones too. You set the low and high temp and it will turn the fan on once it gets too the high temp and off when it gets too the low temp :scratchin: good shit too have if power is an issue, but i leave mine on the whole time, i wanna get as much air in as possible, only got a ceiling fan.
