URGENT HELP NEEDED ON FIRST GROW

Hi all, i'm new here n new to growing, I can successfully germinate the seeds but cant seem to make em grow for more than a week or two, they start to wilt n die on me. I'm using root riot blocks, ph'd water, n been told to use abit of formulex which i added 2 days ago but no difference. I've got two 20W energy saving bulbs on them. Please help me guys!!!!!

Have you got them on a heat pad ? How cold are they getting at night ? They wont tolerate much at that early stage.

sorry mate cant tell much from that pic, stems look very red, cold could be the issue but they are pretty hardy and usually wont die unless its getting down under 5 deg C.

How damp are you keeping those blocks? damp rot is the biggest killer of seedlings, especially indoors.

Hey buddy, im sort of new to this myself, a wise post i read in reply to a similar post like yours

is Less is More

dont water to much

dont have lights to close

dont feed them nutrients until you see second leaf nodes and even then its next to nowt.

Do keep them warm, in a propogation tray with lid over a heat duct

dont transplant to early, let them outgrow the pot or container, usualy when you see the roots come through base holes.

Invest in the best you can afford or borrow lights from a Good friend.

Dont get your knickers in a twist they will grow.

Im suffering greatly from inpatience, you need plenty of that.

i think it might be over watering n less light, would two 20W energy saving bulbs be ok at this stage?
