CO2 from fermentation

Recommended Posts

a plastic tube going from the airlock on the fermenter to just inside the air-inlet of the growing wardrobe should do the trick nicely (if it doesn't fit then try putting a plastic tube from the fermenter gas outlet into the grow cupboard, then prop the tube up vertically and fit the airlock on there instead.

Hey Great Question ... I missed this one :D

I think that if Plants thrive with CO2 in the atmosphere then this could be a great method to "kill two birds with one Stoner" ... so to speak :D

Brewing Beer requires very similar temperature conditions to growing also ... Sorry I canna remember exact off the top head but I think around 24-28d is best range for most Aussie Beers to brew at ... lol

Just wondering though ... what type of outlet do you use from the Beer fermenter? ... just a small outlet I'm guessing as It's the Protective CO2 cover in the fermenter that maintains the integrity of the Brew ... if IT's just the minimal and normal small secretion (like through an airlock or pin-prick in the cling-wrap) then I do wonder if the effect would be minimal , almost non-existant .., :toke:

I suppose that this process would though indeed increase the levels of CO2 in a growing room ...

And Hell , I'f you can develop some tasty beverages ... on the side ... why the hell not aye

Note : Excess light degrades Home-Brew Beer ... as compared to Flourishing Budz ... Cover your fermenter with light-proof material if It's in the growroom ;) No worries.

Well , Good luck and keep us posted on the results ;)

Cheerz ;)

Budman ;)

Have definitely heard positive results about this CARBON POSITIVE setup.

By the same logic, having your GREENhouse vented via a chicken coop (heat, methane, nitrogen and co2) or human settlement (just co2) can similarly boost productivity.

Brewing is as simple as a bucket, sugar, yeast and sultanas. Go read the literature.

And Good luck.
